How to fix Facebook error code 5?

Facebook error code 5 is a general error code that indicates a problem with the Facebook app. There are a number of potential causes for this error code, including an outdated app, a corrupt cache, or a problem with the Facebook servers. This error code can also occur if there is a problem with the user's internet connection. In most cases, this error code can be resolved by simply restarting the app or the device.

1. Check your internet connection and make sure you're connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network

  1. Open the Facebook app on your device

  2. Tap on the three lines in the top left corner

  3. Select "Settings"

  4. Under "General", tap on "Connection"

  5. If your internet connection is connected and you're connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network, then you'll see a green checkmark next to "Internet". If not, please follow the instructions below to connect to a Wi-Fi or cellular network. If your internet connection is not connected or not connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network, please follow the instructions below to connect to a Wi-Fi or cellular network.

  6. Open the Settings app on your device

  7. Under "General", tap on "Wi-Fi" or "Cellular"

  8. If you're connected to a Wi-Fi network, then you'll see a list of available networks. If you're not connected to a Wi-Fi network, then you'll see a list of available networks and you can connect to a Wi-Fi network by tapping on the network that you want to connect to.

2. Restart your device and try again

  8. Tap Yes to confirm.
  9. Tap Restart Phone.

If you're using a mobile network, try connecting to a different network. b. If you're using Wi-Fi, try restarting your device and signing in again using your Facebook account information. c. If you're using a mobile network and your device is connected to the internet, try refreshing your Facebook page. d. If you're using a mobile network and your device is not connected to the internet, try signing in again using your Facebook account information.

3. Update the Facebook app to the latest version

  1. Open your Facebook app and click on the three lines in the top left corner.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select General.
  4. Select App Update.
  5. Click on the Update Facebook button.
  6. If there is an update available, it will be displayed. Click on the Update button.
  7. Your Facebook app will be updated.

  1. Uninstall and reinstall the Facebook app.
  2. Check for updates to your device's operating system.
