The Frigidaire stove error code is an indication that the stove has detected a problem with the way it is operating. This can be caused by a number of factors, including a dirty or blocked burner, a problem with the gas supply, or a malfunctioning igniter. If the problem is not corrected, the stove may shut down completely.

1. Check the wiring to see if anything is loose or disconnected

  1. Close the refrigerator door and unplug the refrigerator.
  2. Turn off the power to the refrigerator by turning off the breaker at the electrical panel.
  3. Remove the four screws that hold the top panel in place.
  4. Remove the top panel.
  5. Check the wiring to the refrigerator for any loose or disconnected connections. If there are any problems, fix them using a wire connector or a wire stripper.
  6. Replace the top panel and screws.
  7. Plug in the refrigerator and turn on the power. If the error code returns, fix the problems that caused it and try again.

2. Check the gas line to see if there is a leak

  1. Remove the cover over the gas line to the stove.
  2. Check for any gas leaks by using a torch to look for flames or sparks coming from the line. If there is a gas leak, the line will be hot to the touch.
  3. If there is a gas leak, replace the gas line.

3. Clean the burner heads and igniter

  1. Turn off the power to the frigidaire stove by turning the switch to the “off” position.
  2. Disconnect the electrical cord from the wall outlet.
  3. Remove the screws that hold the burner head in place.
  4. Remove the top burner head by gently pulling it off the base.
  5. Inspect the burner head for any build-up of material or debris. If there is any, use a vacuum cleaner to clean it off.
  6. Reinstall the burner head by screwing it into place.
  7. reconnect the electrical cord to the wall outlet.
  8. Turn on the power to the frigidaire stove and check for any error codes. If there are any, fix them and proceed to the next step.

4. Replace the igniter

  1. Remove the front cover by removing the two screws at the top and then gently pulling it off.
  2. Make sure that the power cord is unplugged and remove the two screws holding the igniter in place.
  3. Remove the igniter by gently pulling it out and then replace it with a new one.
  4. Reinstall the front cover and plug in the power cord.
  5. Test the stove by clicking the igniter button and checking the error code.

5. Replace the burner heads

  1. Turn off the power to the frigidaire stove by flipping the breaker.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet.
  3. Remove the screws that hold the burner grates in place.
  4. Lift off the burner grates.
  5. Remove the screws that hold the burner head in place.
  6. Remove the burner head.
  7. Clean the burner head with a rag and a bit of soap.
  8. Apply a new layer of thermal compound to the burner head.
  9. Replace the burner head.
  10. Replace the screws that hold the burner grates in place.
  11. reconnect the power cord to the wall outlet.

If the answers above didn't work then you should also try:

  1. Replace the gas valve.
