The AE error code on a LG dishwasher indicates that there is water in the base pan. This error code can be caused by a few different things, such as a leak in the dishwasher, a clogged drain, or a faulty water inlet valve. If you see this error code, you should first check for any leaks in the dishwasher. If there are no leaks, then you should check the drain for any clogs. If the drain is clear, then the water inlet valve may be faulty and will need to be replaced.
