1. Change the Network Address Translation (NAT) settings

"No longer in party due to network error" may be due to your Network Address Translation (NAT) types. Your NAT type might be incompatible with the other players. Please configure your NAT settings.

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select Network.
  3. Select Test multiplayer connection.
  4. Repeat until Nat type is changed to Open.

2. Increase Internet Connection Stability

"No longer in the party due to network error" could also be caused by unstable connection to modem router. You may want to remove your Xbox and modem router from the power source for at least three minutes to refresh your connection. In addition, setting your network configuration to static increases stability to your Xbox and router modem. Please see below on how to set IP to static.

Option 1. Set IP and DNS address from the console

  1. Go to Xbox One Network setting. Use Solution 1 as a reference.

  2. Select IP setting and then select Manual. Set your IP.

  3. Select DNS Setting and then select Manual. Set your DNS, use Google DNS if you don't have one.
    Primary: 8.8.8.8
    Secondary: 8.8.4.4

If you are still experiencing the error, you may want to call your Internet service provider. Ask them if they have a problem in your area. Also, ask if they can provide a DNS server dedicated for Xbox.

3. Correct the Language & Location setting

  2. Go to the Home screen
  3. Click Settings > All Settings.
  4. Select System and select Language & Location.
