  1. Click Windows Logo key + R key, to open the Run window.

  2. Type ncpa.cpl, to open Network Connection.

  3. Right-click your active connection and select Properties.

  4. Click to highlight Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).

  5. Then click Properties.

  6. Enable Use the following DNS server addresses.

  7. Input 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1.

  8. Then click OK.

  9. You must restart your Computer so it will take effect.

NOTE: Check your modem/router settings to verify it is not providing a DNS. If a DNS is set, delete it and leave it blank and then restart the modem/router and your computer so it will take effect.
