The rheem tankless water heater flow sensor is located in the water heater and is responsible for detecting the flow of water through the heater. If the flow sensor detects a problem with the water flow, it will shut off the water heater and display an error code on the control panel. The most common cause of this error code is a clogged or damaged water filter.
