How to Fix Valorant Error Code 51?

Valorant error code 51 is an error that can occur when launching the game or during matchmaking. This error code is usually caused by a corrupt or missing game file, or by a problem with your computer's graphics card.

1. Restart your computer

  1. First, open the Start menu and search for "Restart."
  2. Once the Restart window pops up, click on the "Restart" button.
  3. Your computer will restart and will go through the standard startup process.
  4. Once your computer has restarted, enter your administrator password to log in.
  5. Once you are logged in, click on the "Advanced startup" button.
  6. On the advanced startup menu, click on the "Restart" button.
  7. Your computer will restart again and go through the standard startup process.
  8. Once your computer has restarted, you will be presented with the "Valorant error code 51" screen.
  9. On this screen, you will need to enter your administrator password to fix the issue.
  10. After you have entered your administrator password, you will be able to fix the issue and your computer will be back up and running.

2. Update your graphics drivers

  1. Go to the AMD website and download the latest drivers for your graphics card.
  2. Double check that you have the latest graphics drivers installed on your computer.
  3. Log in to your computer and open the AMD Control Panel.
  4. Click on the Display tab and scroll down to the Display subsection.
  5. Click on the Browse button next to the Graphics Drivers box and select the latest driver file.
  6. Click on the Update button to install the driver.
  7. Restart your computer if prompted.
  8. Check the AMD Control Panel to see if the graphics driver has been updated.
  9. If the graphics driver has been updated, you will see a new valorant error code 51 message and your graphics card will be working again.

3. Verify your game files

4. Run the game in compatibility mode

  1. Launch the game in compatibility mode.

  3. If the game still crashes on startup, try verifying the game cache.
  4. If the game still crashes on startup, try verifying the game files.

5. Disable your antivirus software

  1. Firstly, open your antivirus software and click on the "Scan" tab.
  2. Next, click on the "Disable Protection" button and wait for the software to complete the process.
  3. Once the Disable Protection process is complete, click on the "Restart" button to restart your computer.
  4. After your computer has restarted, open the "Valorant" application and try to connect to the network again. If the problem has been resolved, then congratulations!
