How to fix error code 0xa00f4244(0xc00d36d5) when trying to access the camera?

This error code is caused by a problem with the camera driver. The driver might be outdated or incompatible with the operating system. This error can also be caused by a corrupt or missing driver file.

1. Check the USB connection and try again

  1. Check if the USB cable is properly connected to the computer and the USB port on the device.
  2. Try to connect the device to another computer.
  3. Try to update the driver for the device.
  4. Try to reset the device.

2. Update the driver for the device

  1. Go to the device manufacturer's website and find the driver for your device.
  2. Double-click on the driver file to install it on your computer.
  3. Click on the "Update Driver" button in the driver installation wizard.
  4. Follow the instructions on the screen to update the driver.
  5. Restart your computer after the driver has been updated.

3. Uninstall and reinstall the device

  1. Open Device Manager and expand the Network Adapters category.

  9. Click on the "Windows Troubleshooting" button to open the Troubleshooting window.
  10. Click on the "Advanced options" link to open the Advanced Troubleshooting window.
  11. On the "Advanced options" window, click on the "Startup Settings" tab.
  12. Click on the "Advanced" button to open the Advanced Startup Settings window.
  13. In the "Advanced startup options" window, under the "Startup type" category, click on the "Command Prompt" button.
  14. Click on the "Command Prompt" button to open the command prompt window.
  15. At the command prompt window, type the following command and press ENTER: powercfg -h off
  16. After the computer restarts, check the error code 0xa00f4244(0xc00d36d5) to see if it has been fixed.
