1. Update the console and the game

Xbox One

  1. Go to Settings, and then select All Settings.
  2. Go to System.
  3. Select Console info & updates.
  4. Select Update console.

PlayStation 4

Option 1

  1. To check for updates, go to Settings.
  2. Go to System Software Update.

Option 2

  1. Turn off the console.
  2. Connect the controller using the USB cable.
  3. Press and hold the power button for at least seven seconds. The second beep is the indicator to release the power button,
  4. Press the PS button on the controller.
  5. You should be able to access the safe mode. Please select Update System Software.
  6. If an update is available, update it. Wait until the process is over.

2. Power cycle the console

Option 1

Option 2

  1. Click the Guide button on the controller.
  2. Navigate to Settings and select System Settings.

  6. Select Yes to confirm.
  7. Then, apply Option1.

Option 3

  1. Go to My games and apps.
  2. Then select Call of Duty Infinite Warfare.
  3. Then select Manage game >> Save Data >> Reserved space.
  4. Then select Clear Reserved space.
  5. Restart the console.

PlayStation 4

  1. Turn off your PlayStation 4.
  2. When the power LED indicator stop blinking, unplug the console for at least three minutes.
  3. Turn the console back on.
  4. Update the game.

PC

  1. Open Steam.
  2. Click Library, right-click the game and select Properties.
  3. Select the Local Files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.
  4. Wait for the process to finish.
  5. Update the game.

3. Turn on Energy Saving mode (Xbox One)

It is also possible that the Power & Startup setting on your Xbox One is causing the error “Error code POLANA” in Call of Duty Infinite Warfare.   3. Select Power Mode and enable Energy-saving option.
  4. Turn off your Xbox One, by pressing the power button for 8 to 10 seconds.
  5. Then, unplug it for three minutes.
  6. Turn the console back on.
  7. Update the game.

4. Reinstall the game
