Windows error code 126 occurs if there is any problem caused in loading of dynamic link library(DLL) files.
1. Install Microsoft .NET Framework and Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable
Windows error code 126 could be caused by a missing dynamic link library(DLL). To fix the error, install the latest version of Microsoft .NET Framework.
- Download and install latest Microsoft .NET Framework and Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable.

- Then try to install or run the application which encounter Error Code 126.
2. Windows Update
Windows error code 126 may also appear when your Windows is out of date. In the case of Windows 8.1 and below, a Windows update is required before installing the latest version of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable and .Net Framework. Please do a Windows update.
For Windows 7
Go to Control Panel ==> System and Security ==> Windows Update ==>**Install Updates.

Click Windows Start, type Check for updates and select **Check for updates.

Click Windows Start, type Check for updates and press Enter key.
